Un autografo mister Lipo!

Prendo fiato per dirti che da qualche giorno è in edicola il nuovo numero de La Repubblica XL. Le pagine dei fumetti sono pregne di immagini del grande Moebius. Ed anche Ted Bunny ha voluto dedicargli la sua strip di questo mese. Corri in edicola, ma senza sudare troppo. Io mi rituffo nel lavoro.

Back from Napoli!

Approfitto di una breve pausa per dirti che sono tornato da Napoli, come hai già potuto notare dal titolo di questo post. Al mio ritorno ho trovato ad aspettarmi sull'uscio di casa la mole di lavoro che già m'ha consumato le calorie di pizze e fritti accumulate all'ombra del Vesuvio. Come sempre il Comicon è stata una grande esperienza dal punto di vista umano: al solito lì sopra puoi vedere un po' di scatti fatti ai tantissimi amici passati all'area XL. Un grazie di cuore a loro e a tutto lo staff del Napoli Comicon per la consueta straordinaria accoglienza. Qui sotto invece ti puoi beccare qualche fotuzza scattata qua e là e durante le giornate e serate partenopee. Ora mi rimetto al lavoro, ma presto ti darò nuovi aggiornamenti, perchè il tour estivo continua e presto sarò in una città che mi è tanto cara e nella quale con XL non sono ancora mai stato. Stay tuned!

During this coffee break I'm just writing you that I'm home, back from Naples, as you already noticed by the title of this post. At my home door I've found waiting for me an awful lot of work that already burn away al the calories pile up whit pizzas and fried food I've eat in Naples. As usual Comicon was a great experience. And as usual you could see here some pics about all friends came at XL Area. Thanks a lot to them and to all the Comicon staff for the extraordinary welcome. Then you could also see some pics take during the days&nights out in Naples. Now I've got go back at work, but soon I'll give you more news, 'cause the summer tour is still running and soon I'll be in a city I love but I've never been yet there with XL magazine. In partenza per Napoli

Da domani sarò a Napoli per il Comicon. Mi trovi alla Fiera d'Oltremare allo spazio XL in compagnia degli altri disegnatori del magazine de La Repubblica. Sabato alle 15 terremo anche un incontro durante il qualche presenteremo il restyling del giornale e il nuovo spazio dedicato ai comics. Qui sopra, a farti compagnia in mia assenza, un nuovo poster che odora ancora di grafite, dedicato all'immenso "The Goonies". Lo trovi già disponibile su society6. Ne approfitto per dirti che il mio poster "The Big Lebowski" (te lo ricordi? lo puoi vedere qui) è stato selezionato per entrare a far parte dello shop ufficiale di society6. Tomorrow I'll be in Naples for the Comicon. You could see me at XL stand at Oltremare Fair. I'll be there with all the others cartoonist of the magazine. Saturday we will have a public meeting with our readers, to present the new XL Magazine graphic style and the new comic pages inside it. While I'm out, I'll leave here to take care of you this new celebrative movie poster, dedicate to the great "The Goonies". It's available on society6. Ale Globe Trotter

Saranno settimane fitte fitte quelle che stanno per arrivare. Ti scrivo qui alcuni degli appuntamenti ai quali parteciperò e ai quali pure tu puoi partecipare. Da sabato 28 a lunedì 30 aprile sarò al Comicon di Napoli allo spazio XL in compagnia dell'allegra banda di disegnatori composta da Mr. Diavù, Massimo Giacon, Alberto Corradi, Tuono Pettinato e Pino Creanza. Saremo lì tutti insieme da mattina a sera a disegnare per te. Da quest'anno però non più a Castel Sant'Elmo, perchè il Salone del Fumetto di Napoli si sposta tutto alla Fiera d'Oltremare. Inoltre farò un salto anche dagli amici di Mamma! per presentare il numero fresco fresco di stampa diretto da Mr. Kanjano e tutto dedicato alla paura. Se passi di là, salutiamoci.

Sabato 19 maggio sarò invece impegnato in un'incontro gratuito ed aperto a tutti sul fumetto: dalle 15 alle 18 mi chiuderò nei laboratori dello spazio multiculturale dell'ex Informagiovani di Vicenza (in Contrà Barche) per fare quattro chiacchiere sul mondo del fumetto. L'incontro è gratuito ed è dedicato ai ragazzi delle scuole superiori, ma all'entrata so per certo che non ti domanderanno la carta di identità. C'è però bisogno che tu ti iscriva prima. Qualche giorno dopo, invece, farò di nuovo i bagagli e partirò per Lecce. Martedì 29 Maggio io e l'energico team di disegnatori de La Repubblica XL terremo una speciale lezione sul fumetto nelle aule dell'Università del Salento. Maggiori informazioni su questo incontro te le darò presto.

Tornato a Vicenza, mi rimetterò subito al lavoro per preparare un worshop gratuito che terrò alla Dalì School di Vicenza (via Vecchia Ferriera) Domenica 10 Giugno, dal titolo "Dal disegno all'animazione": dalle 15 sarò lì per portarti a fare una breve passeggiata attraverso le tecniche, i processi creativi e i programmi che trasformano il segno su carta in un cartone animato. Ora probabilmente ti starai chiedendo che centra la foto lì sopra con tutto questo. Next weeks will be really busy. I'm going to have some dates around Italy. From 28 to 30 of April I'll be at Comicon in Naples at the XL Area with the amazing comics team of the magazine: Mr. Diavù, Massimo Giacon, Alberto Corrati, Tuono Pettinato e Pino Creanza. And I'll be also with the guys of Mamma! to presents the brand new issue. If you will be there, come to say hello.
Saturday 19 of May I'll teach on a free workshop about comics: from 3PM to 6PM I'll be on the ex Students Office area in Vicenza (C.trà Barche) to talk about comics. This workshop it's completely free and open to secondary schools students (but I'm sure that they will not ask your ID if you are little bit older). Than, few days after, I'll pack my bag and travel to Lecce, in the south of Italy. On may the 29th me and the amazing XL cartoonists team will teach on a very special lesson on the Salento University! Soon I'll give you more info about this date.
Than back to Vicenza, 'cause on Sunday 10 of  June I'm going to teach to a completely free workshop at Dalì School (via Vecchia Ferriera - Vicenza). "From draw to animation": that's how's call this workshop. From 3PM I'll take you for a little "promenade" through technics, creative process and softwares to build an animated cartoon. Workshop it's free but you need to subscribe (info 0444 565006 / 347 9885024 - info@dalischool.it).

Lo zoo di Miriade

Sono ormai cinque mesi che ogni venerdì pubblico una serie strip sulla fan page di facebook di Miriade (ne avevo parlato qui): agli animali dello "zoo" si è aggiunto anche Dern, smanettone del computer con difficoltà di relazioni sociali. Visto che su questo blog non ne è mai apparsa una, ne approfitto per mettere un sintetico riassunto delle puntate precedenti. Poi se vuoi seguire le strip dell zoo di Miriade, ti basta mettere mi piace qui. Ma ricorda che è vietato dare da mangiare agli animali.

Five months ago I've started to draw a weekly web comic strip on Miriade facebook fan pan page (I was talking about it here): now Miriade zoo's animals have a new friend called Dern. I've never post any of those strip here on my blog. I'm doing now, but unfortunately they are in italian.Maybe one day, when I'll have time to do it, I'll translate in english. You could just watch it, but don't feed the animals.

Hags Bags!

Disegni sfocati

In attesa ne arrivino altre, posto quest'unica testimonianza della serata di sabato scorso. É stato davvero uno YEP! Party memorabile. Talmente memorabile che il giorno dopo non ricordavo proprio tutto. Al solito davvero tantissima gente che ha affollato il T-Gallery ed è stato emozionante vedere già un sacco di ragazzi con le maglie della nuova collezione Heroes_Art addosso. Quella che vedi, invece, è la prima delle cinque t-shirts che ho disegnato dal vivo e che sono sparite da lì a poco. Su queste pagine presto ti dirò quando e dove sarà il prossimo YEP! Party. Waiting for new ones, here is the first pcture about last saturday night. It really was a memorable YEP! Party. So memorable that the day after I did'nt remember hardly everything. As usual a lot of people was in T-Gallery and it was exciting to see al lot of guys wearing new Heroes_Art tee's collection.
